The Cult & B-Movies Festival returns to Limassol on February 7 and 8, inviting the public to a unique, two-day cinematic experience dedicated to alternative, unorthodox, and daring cinema.
The festival aims to highlight and re-evaluate films that operate outside the established cinematic norms—cult creations and B-movies that, despite (or because of) their unconventional nature, have gained a devoted audience and timeless value.
Location and Organization
The screenings will be hosted at the Synergeio Multipurpose Space in Limassol, a venue that serves as a constant reference point for independent culture and alternative artistic expression.
The festival is organized by Brave New Media and CCC (Cyprus Cult Cinephiles), in collaboration with the Limassol Film Club and the CyFi Festival, enhancing the dynamic of the Cypriot film community and creating bridges between creators and cinephiles.

Saturday, February 7
18:00 – Playtime (1967) Directed by: Jacques Tati Duration: 1 hour and 55 minutes In collaboration with the Limassol Film Club
30-minute break
20:30 – Leo Brasina Directed by: Andreas Papakyriakou Duration: 70 minutes With the director present
A DJ Party follows the screening, continuing the evening in cult rhythms.
Sunday, February 8
19:00 – Selected cult short films In collaboration with the CyFi Fest, Cyprus’s first Fantasy Film Festival Curated by: Andreas Kyriakou Duration: 60 minutes
30-minute break
20:30 – The Detached House Directed by: Ioaquim Mylonas Duration: 88 minutes The director will be present
The screening is part of a collaboration with the CyFi Festival, where “The Detached House” will also be shown at the Pantheon Theater, between February 20–22.
Additionally, on Monday, February 9, the Limassol Film Club will screen another cult film at the Rio Cinema, which will be announced in the February program.
