Cultural Events: Theater, Music, and Books on Sunday

Today’s cultural agenda runs from morning to night, featuring theater, music, and books.

The day kicks off at 10:30 AM at the Sotira Municipal Theater. The Vestiarion Theater presents the play ‘Laugh Clown,’ based on texts by Yiannis Spanou.

At 4 PM, we head to Ayia Napa. The Municipality of Ayia Napa and the Lyceum of Greek Women of Famagusta honor Despo Farkonti Efthymiou at the ‘George Seferis’ Cultural Center. At the same time in Limassol, the Gabriadze Georgian Puppet Theater performs ‘Alfredo and Violetta’ at the Rialto Theater, with another show at 7 PM. Meanwhile, in Nicosia, Aigea Theater opens for a theater workshop for all ages.

At 5 PM, literature shines at the Limassol House of Letters and Arts with Chrystalla Vasou’s book presentation ‘Aphrogala.’ Half an hour later, the comedy ‘Here We Say SOS’ by George Tsiakkas is performed at the Latsia Municipal Theater.

Theater continues at 6 PM at WhereHaus 612 with Marina Makri’s play ‘The Chandelier’ by ETHAL and the enact group. At 6:30 PM, Satiriko Theater hosts Josep Maria Miro’s work ‘The Most Beautiful Body Ever Found in This Place,’ featuring Grigoris Georgiou on stage.

At 7 PM, ‘An Iliad’ is presented at the Sotira Municipal Theater in Ayia Napa Municipality, starring Despoina Bebedeli and directed by Andreas Araouzou.

The day’s events wrap up at 8 PM in Larnaca, where the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra performs a chamber music concert at the ‘G. Lykourgos’ Municipal Theater.
