The Cyprus ADHD Association says that people with ADHD face challenges due to poor systems and a lack of understanding. They stress the need for real support and teamwork.
In its New Year’s message, the Association points out that those with ADHD still struggle in education, work, and social life. These struggles come from system flaws, not from their abilities.
Last year showed many efforts to promote visibility, acceptance, and inclusion. However, the Association believes that the new year needs more than just good intentions. It calls for coordinated actions and clear initiatives.
The Association insists that true change happens when society, institutions, businesses, and the government genuinely invest in knowledge, support, and inclusive policies. They conclude that the new year should be a chance for more empathy, less exclusion, and safe spaces for everyone with ADHD.
