Giolou dresses in white and pink to welcome spring with the sweet scent of almonds! On Sunday, February 15, 2026, from 11:00 AM, the village square will be alive with smiles and colors during the 7th Almond Blossom Festival.
The Giolou Community Council invites everyone to enjoy a day filled with nature, tradition, and tasty Cypriot flavors. The blooming almond trees will create a magical scene that brings feelings of renewal, hope, and joy—the perfect setting for a spring getaway to the village.
People of all ages can explore stalls featuring local products, meet Giolou’s producers, and support the local economy while enjoying a festival celebrating almonds and the earth’s bounty.
Village residents who want to join with their own products can apply to the Community Council by January 26, 2026. Priority will go to almond-related entries.
The Almond Blossom Festival has become one of the most beautiful celebrations in the area. It’s an open invitation for everyone to enjoy an authentic event where nature blooms and tradition thrives.
