Cyprus is stepping up in the global conversation about female leadership with FEM 2.0 (Future Empowered Minds). This program aims to empower young women from various countries, backed by CIM-Cyprus Business School.
This year, the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation’s program received a lot of attention, with 7,663 applications from all over the world. The program features a strong group of 78 young women from Cyprus and their peers from the UK, Spain, Poland, and more.
FEM 2.0 offers an intensive, free digital journey focusing on leadership, financial skills, and mental strength. It’s not just online; a highlight for this year’s group is the offline FEM Leadership Camp in Cyprus. Here, international participants will meet for networking and social impact projects.
Yangos Hadjiyiannis, CEO of CIM-Cyprus Business School, highlighted the value of this academic-social partnership: “We need academic rigor mixed with practical leadership today. By giving these girls access to top-notch business education in Cyprus, we prepare the next generation of leaders to innovate with heart and strategy.” The 2026 cohort also gets support from SteelRose Legal Ltd, a London law firm joining as a corporate social responsibility partner. This partnership brings British legal know-how to the Mediterranean and offers a special prize: a mentorship trip to London for top participants.
Kateryna Biloruska, Founder of the Kateryna Biloruska Foundation, said: “We are building a network where a girl from Kyiv can work with her peer in Limassol or London to tackle global issues. The success of FEM 2.0 depends on this unique teamwork between nonprofits, CIM’s academic strength, and expertise from companies like SteelRose.”
