Maintenance work is happening on two more cultural heritage sites in Cyprus. This was shared on social media by Mr. Sotos Ktoris, the Greek Cypriot Co-Chair of the bicommunal Technical Committee on Cultural Heritage.
The projects focus on the mosque of the Agios Thomas community in Limassol and the church of Timios Prodromos in Neo Chorio Kythrea. They aim to preserve and showcase important historical and cultural monuments.
The work is funded by the European Union. The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is providing technical supervision and guidance as part of bicommunal efforts to protect shared cultural heritage.
