The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, accepted the resignation of his Office Director, Charalambos Charalambous. This resignation came after a controversial video was released last week, causing quite a stir.
In a written statement, the President called Mr. Charalambous’ decision an act of confidence and trust. He noted that it shows his personal integrity. At the same time, he mentioned losing a close and valuable associate who worked hard to improve the country.
