The Cyprus Theatre Organization is holding auditions for its summer show, Euripides’ play ‘Ion’, directed by Thomas Moschopoulos.
We’re looking for male and female professional actors who have graduated from drama schools. All ages are welcome! Strong singing and movement skills are a must. If you play a musical instrument, that’s a bonus! If you’re interested, please send your resume and a recent photo to auditions@thoc.org.cy by Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Use the subject line “Audition-Summer Production”. Late applications won’t be accepted.
The director and the creative team will choose actors for the auditions based on the resumes. Those selected will get prep materials and details about the audition date, time, and location.
The first round of auditions will be on Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, 2026. The second round will be on Sunday, March 8, and Monday, March 9, 2026.
The Organization’s Board of Directors has decided that actors can’t work in more than one production if rehearsal or performance times overlap. This rule helps maintain smooth operations and artistic quality.
The expected employment period is from mid-April to July 2026 and from late August to early September 2026.
