Tourism revenue in Cyprus has jumped, with November showing great growth in the sector. The latest data from the Statistical Service of Cyprus (Cystat) shows tourism receipts for November hit €168 million.
This is a 21.1% increase from last November when revenues were about €138.7 million. The data comes from a passenger survey by Cystat, giving us a clear view of tourism trends.
15.3% Increase Over Eleven Months
From January to November 2025, total tourism revenue is estimated at €3.6 billion, up from €3.12 billion in the same period of 2024. This means a 15.3% annual increase, showing that the tourism sector is getting stronger.
Even with rising receipts, average spending per visitor has dropped due to changing habits.
Reduced Average Spending Per Tourist
The average spending per person in November 2025 was €716, down from €771.02 in November 2024 — a drop of 7.1%.
Main Markets and Daily Expenditures
The United Kingdom stayed the top tourist market for November, making up 22.7% of total arrivals. British visitors spent an average of €87.68 each day.
Poland came in second with 13.2% of arrivals and an average daily spend of €82.97 per tourist.
Israel ranked third with 11.4% of arrivals, but Israeli visitors had the highest daily spending at €168.90 — nearly double what other major markets spend.
This data shows how lively Cypriot tourism is, with more total receipts but also changing spending habits among visitors.
