The court has rejected a request by a 28-year-old defendant in the Stavros Demosthenous murder case to be released under conditions during trial proceedings.
In its ruling, the court said no new facts had been presented that would justify changing the existing remand decision.
It further noted that the evidentiary record remains unchanged, while both flight risk and the possibility of conviction based on available evidence persist.
The judges also referred to the defendant’s arrest in Thessaloniki under a European arrest warrant and found the proposed release terms insufficient.
