After a day with very high dust levels, air quality readings at 19:00 show improvement in the west.
According to Kitasweather, PM10 levels in Paphos and Limassol have dropped below the safe limit, showing low levels (green color). In Nicosia, Larnaca, and Famagusta, dust levels are still high but should get better in the next few hours.
However, this calm won’t last long. Starting tomorrow Thursday, more dust from North Africa is expected, with higher levels mainly in the evening. Citizens should keep an eye on air quality updates and take precautions, especially those in vulnerable groups.
