The Electricity Authority says power is back on through other sources. But with low temperatures and high demand, they ask everyone to limit usage to essentials until midnight.
The Electricity Authority teams are still working to fully restore power and fix the issue. In Nicosia, many homes and shops are without power, reminding people of past outages. Areas affected include Engomi, Agios Dometios, Archangelos, Acropolis, parts of Strovolos, and Lakatamia.
