The European Commission has launched new funding options to boost European agri-food products. They have opened calls for proposals for 2026 as part of the European Union’s promotion policy.

Grants worth 160 million euros will help fund campaigns and promotional activities for sustainable and quality agri-food products. These efforts will focus on both the European market and selected markets outside the EU, like the United Kingdom, Japan, China, and North America.

The calls are part of a larger work program for 2026, with a total budget of 205 million euros. The goal is to inform consumers about European agricultural products, quality systems, and the high safety and environmental standards in the EU. These actions are promoted under the brand “Enjoy, it’s from Europe.”

The calls will be open for three months and are aimed at a wide range of eligible entities across the EU. To help interested parties, an informational seminar is planned with both in-person and online participation on January 27 and 28.
