Eurobank showed its strong commitment to shipping by being a platinum sponsor at the 2026 Keynote Annual Event of the Propeller Club of the United States – Port of Limassol, held in Limassol.
The keynote speaker was Amin Toufani, known worldwide for his work on adapting organizations to artificial intelligence and new technologies. His visit to Cyprus gave the local market a chance to connect with a global thought leader. In his speech, he stressed how important adaptability is for organizations facing fast tech changes, geopolitical issues, and energy shifts. He offered great advice for making smart decisions.
At the event, Mr. Stefanos Kassianides, Senior General Manager of Eurobank, highlighted the Bank’s ongoing support for shipping, a key part of Cyprus’s economy. He talked about Cyprus’s important position in global shipping. He also mentioned Eurobank’s growth in Cyprus, noting that creating Eurobank Limited through the merger with Hellenic Bank was the biggest investment in the country’s banking sector. This led to forming the largest banking and insurance organization in Cyprus.
Eurobank’s leading role in shipping finance was also discussed. The Bank provides specialized solutions that meet the changing needs of the industry, helping boost sustainable growth and competitiveness in shipping entrepreneurship.
