This year, the picturesque and beautiful Lefkara was once again one of the most popular destinations for Christmas holidays on our island.
Even with the crowds and heavy traffic to the village, I found myself among the many Christmas stalls in the community square, filled with treats, warm drinks, and tasty foods.
Lucky for me, I chose a dish that was truly different! I went for the famous pumpkin soup in warm bread – a perfect choice for winter days, blending comfort food and tradition.
You have to try the pumpkin soup in warm bread. It’s warm and creamy, with fresh bread creating a unique mix of flavors and textures: the smooth, sweet soup fills the bread, turning it into a natural ‘vessel’ that enhances every bite.
Amidst the hustle and bustle, with the cold biting through my bones and music ringing in my ears, the pumpkin soup offers warmth and an instant sense of calm in Lefkara’s unique winter vibe.
