EY Cyprus has been named the Cyprus Microsoft Partner of the Year 2025 for its innovative AI services. This award highlights the strong partnership between EY and Microsoft. It shows how working together can lead to great results for society by providing top-notch services to citizens.
The Microsoft Partner of the Year award is given each year to partners from over 80 countries. It recognizes innovation, technical skill, and contributions to digital transformation. In 2025, more than 4,600 entries came from 100 countries, showcasing a wide range of solutions using advanced technology and promoting inclusion. EY Cyprus stood out with its key project, gov.cy, a cloud-based and AI-driven platform. This project is crucial for improving citizen services and modernizing state operations.
A Milestone Project for Cyprus’s Digital Governance
With the motto “We shape a Digital Government with Purpose… enabled by a Cloud-first and AI-powered Digital Platform – gov.cy”, EY Cyprus used its global experience along with Microsoft’s tech skills and a deep understanding of the Cypriot government’s needs. They created an innovative digital governance program based on Cloud-first and AI technologies.
The program includes:
- A cloud-based Gov.cy Portal that offers a unified design and content management system for over 200 government websites.
- The digitization and transformation of more than 15 citizen services.
- The use of artificial intelligence technologies to assist citizens.
The success of gov.cy goes beyond just creating another digital platform. It marks a significant shift in how the state operates, finding a new balance where technology meets human-centered service.
