“Friends, it’s been more than two weeks since this orchestrated attack started, affecting my family’s peace of mind. I assure you, I have not committed any of the offenses being claimed against me.
I have not been questioned by the Police about anything. It’s clear that some interests are trying to destroy me. If you look closely at who is attacking me, you’ll see how it connects to my complaints about drugs, money laundering, and other illegal activities.
It’s obvious there’s an attempt to distract from the scandal of videogate and funding for the President’s campaigns in 2023 and 2028, involving the First Lady’s Support Fund. The key point of the “videogate” case is that a system was created where businessmen disguised as “philanthropists” paid money expecting favors in return.
I am here. I have always been here. Let them investigate everything and finally accuse me with real evidence so Justice can decide. Otherwise, it will show they want my endless political imprisonment through investigations and possibly long court cases. If they want a public trial against me instead, I’m ready to respond openly about anything. I will address all accusations against me.
I don’t ask for any special treatment. I ask honest officials to act with fairness and without malicious motives. What’s happening is organized crime against me and society. Cyprus is becoming a corrupt country with a broken system that promotes corruption and protects powerful interests. Let’s not allow them to turn our country into Turkey with “Erdogan-style” methods for eliminating their opponents. If they succeed, they won’t stop with me; they will move on to others. However, if we can rid our country of these groups, it will be a victory for the people.”
