In a radio chat, Fanouris Konstantinou was asked about rumors from yesterday. These rumors suggested they were interested in Angelos Andreou for the upcoming summer.
Some Apollon fans even congratulated President Nikos Kirzis for supposedly securing the transfer.
Fanouris shared his thoughts on SPOR FM 95:
“There is no such case. It’s not that he isn’t a good player, but we haven’t started that process. Our main focus is to keep key players for the new season and aim for Europe.”
The Cypriot winger was loaned from AEL to Omonia last summer. His contract with Limassol ends on May 31st, just like his deal with the greens…
So far, he hasn’t agreed with Omonia to extend their partnership early. From his camp, it seems they want to stay with the Nicosia team.
If he doesn’t stay at “Ilias Poullos,” other teams will be interested in this promising player.
