The Femme Fest Cyprus is back! This time, it’s spreading across the entire island, turning Cyprus into a stage for creativity and empowerment.
On Sunday, April 26, 2026, the 5th Festival for the Promotion of Gender Equality, hosted by the Women’s Movement POGO, will take place in five cities: Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, and Ayia Napa.
Five venues. Five communities. One united voice.
This is the first time in Cyprus that a festival will engage so many cities at once. It sends a strong message: gender equality is everyone’s issue.
In a time when women still face social, economic, and political challenges, Femme Fest opens up space for dialogue and action. The program includes:
- Open talks on current issues that matter to us
- Workshops for empowerment and breaking down stereotypes
- Music, theater, and art that express our truths
- Stalls from organizations and women creators
- A children’s area with activities focused on gender
The Femme Fest is more than just an event. It’s a gathering, advocacy, and a celebration. It’s when diverse voices unite to make a strong impact in every neighborhood.
