The situation on the roads is changing… and not always for the better. Electric vehicle charging stations are often taken up by non-electric cars or electric cars parked without charging.
The result? Drivers who need to recharge are left looking for an open outlet. To fix this, a new law now imposes an €85 fine for those who break the rule. This applies to both non-electric vehicles and electric cars that park without charging.
This way, charging stations will truly be available for those who need them, while drivers will clearly see that spaces for electric vehicles are not for others to park.
