The former Bishop of Paphos, Tychikos, made a peace offering to end past tensions. This morning, he dropped off the keys to the metropolitan apartment and the main office right at the Archbishopric’s door.

In his letter, he explains that since becoming bishop, he has only used two spaces: his living room and his personal office, without keeping personal items in other parts of the Metropolis. He also points out that any talk of his removal or changes to the spaces he uses is not valid and can’t happen without a court ruling.

Since May 2025, he has been living in a separate room in the garden of the Paphos Metropolis, while his office continues to operate normally, without bothering the Archbishopric. With the keys returned, this matter is now settled. Tychikos stated that he always respects church institutions and keeps all his legal rights intact.
