A four-year-old girl sadly passed away this afternoon at Makarios Hospital. Her family and all of Cyprus are heartbroken.
OKYPY reported that the child was moved from Limassol General Hospital to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on Saturday. She was intubated and in critical condition. Despite the doctors’ best efforts, her health did not get better. The doctors said she died from multiple organ failure caused by an influenza A infection.
