The Galata Community invites everyone to celebrate Clean Monday with smiles, tradition, and warm Cypriot hospitality.
On Monday, February 23, 2026, starting at 11:30 AM, the Field of the Galata Primary School will be a gathering spot for locals, expats, and friends. It’s a day filled with joy and happiness.
Surrounded by nature and fresh air, people of all ages can enjoy Lenten treats, traditional bread, wine, and zivania. There will be live music, dancing, drinks, and of course, kite flying!
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll move the event to the Galata Cultural Center so the fun can keep going.
Clean Monday is all about good company, a lovely setting, and… a village vibe.
