Greece and Cyprus in Separate Eurovision 2026 Semifinals

Greece and Cyprus will be in different semifinals at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest. This was decided during the official draw on Monday night, January 12, in Vienna.

The event took place at the Wiener Rathaus and was streamed live on ERTFLIX. This year’s Eurovision will be held in Vienna from May 12 to May 16, 2026, with Austria as the host.

The draw included countries that automatically qualify for the final – the Big 4, after Spain’s withdrawal, plus the host country. France, the United Kingdom, and Austria will vote in the Second Semifinal, while Germany and Italy will vote in the First Semifinal.

In the draw, Greece was placed in the first half of the First Semifinal and will perform on Tuesday, May 12. Cyprus was placed in the second half of the Second Semifinal, which is on Thursday, May 14.

  • First half: Armenia, Romania, Switzerland, Azerbaijan, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Czech Republic
  • Second half: Albania, Denmark, Cyprus, Norway, Malta, Australia, Ukraine, Latvia
