The Greek Cypriot was stabbed somewhere else from where he was found hurt in Larnaca, police say.
The incident happened around 5:00 PM, when officers found an injured man outside a store in the city. An ambulance took him to Larnaca General Hospital. Doctors found a stab wound on his side, which needed surgery.
Reports say the victim told police he was attacked by someone in a car that stopped next to him. Interestingly, no bloodstains were found where he was discovered, hinting the attack might have happened elsewhere. Police are still investigating to find out what really happened.
