Gustavo Assunção is about to be the first winter signing for Apollon.
The Brazilian defensive midfielder, who has a Portuguese passport, has agreed on all terms with the ‘blue and whites’. The Limassol team has also made a deal with AVS to acquire the 25-year-old player.
Reports from Portugal say that AVS will keep 30% of the player’s rights.
His contract is expected to last for 1.5 years, until the end of the 2026-27 season.
Assunção was set to have medical exams today. If everything goes well, he will sign his new contract and be announced by Apollon.
