Hernán Losada gave a big interview to Argentine media. He shared how the offer from Apollon came about.
He specifically mentioned:
“They reached out to me last November, and I started looking into the team. When you have a solid career in Belgium or other European countries, it’s common for teams from different leagues to show interest. You speak languages, hold UEFA B and UEFA A licenses, and the Pro License, which lets you work all over Europe. I also have experience in another league, like Major League Soccer… I think that’s why I was on a shortlist of candidates and was eventually picked. In Europe, they scout for coaches my age or with similar skills who can adapt to these leagues.”
