Magical images of the iconic Bereggaria Hotel in Troodos have been released by the company responsible for its restoration. The impressive video captures the historic building and surrounding landscape covered in snow.

The Legend of Bereggaria Comes Alive Again
With a blend of tradition and modern luxury, Bereggaria Hotel is preparing to make a strong return to Cyprus’s tourist map. It aims to reclaim its title as the “queen” and “jewel” of Troodos.
Its revival is part of a colossal investment of 35 million euros by the bbf Group, with management undertaken by Thanos Hotels & Resorts. The project is expected to be completed by mid-2026.
Bereggaria Luxury Boutique Hotel: What It Will Include
The renovated Bereggaria Luxury Boutique Hotel will operate as a high-standard hotel and will include:
- the preserved building with 30 rooms (6 suites, 12 connected rooms, and 12 standard),
- 14 apartments,
- a state-of-the-art spa,
- 13 townhouses, and
- 9 independent villas in the surrounding area.
Architecture Respecting History and Nature
The interior and exterior spaces will harmoniously combine traditional style with modern touches. The exterior facade is being restored with an emphasis on the characteristic gray stone, while the windows and roof geometry retain their original form. Interventions are discreet, with limited balconies added and new functional spaces on the ground floor, such as a breakfast area and bar.
Amenities for Hospitality and Experience
The hotel’s ground floor will offer a restaurant, café, billiard room, lounge with fireplace, and reading room. The two historic fireplaces are being restored to create warm and welcoming spaces, while large glass doors directly connect the interior with the forest.
The outdoor areas, where the old pool was located, are being transformed into a new social hub with an outdoor pool, seating areas, restaurant, and bar, offering unobstructed views of nature.
Spa in the Heart of the Forest
Beneath the main level of the building will be a luxurious spa featuring a heated pool, gym, yoga area, massage rooms, sauna, and jacuzzi. Large windows ensure natural light and direct visual contact with the forest.
Apartments and Towers
The hotel’s iconic towers are preserved to host the most luxurious suites and apartments. Meanwhile, villas, maisonettes, and studios are being developed in the surrounding area with low-density construction that fully respects the natural topography and forest landscape.
The architecture, materials, and large terraces harmoniously integrate into the environment, creating an ensemble that combines luxury, history, and nature.
