The Cyprus Police are looking into an explosion and arson case in Limassol. This happened early in the morning in the Agios Spyridonas area.
Police got a call around 04:20 about an explosion and fire in a car. Members of the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department quickly went to the scene to investigate.
Initial investigations showed that a low-power improvised explosive device caused the explosion. It was placed under a vehicle owned by a 45-year-old woman.
The blast started a fire, damaging her car and another car belonging to a relative parked nearby.
The authorities are still investigating to find out what happened and who is responsible for the explosion.
