A three-month-old baby with shaken baby syndrome is still in serious but stable condition at Makarios Hospital, said OKYPY spokesperson Charalambos Charilaou.
The baby has been taken off the ventilator and is now getting help through non-invasive mechanical ventilation.
The 28-year-old father is in custody. He was arrested on serious charges, including causing grievous bodily harm, child endangerment, and mistreatment of a minor under 16.
