After the big fire in July 2025 that burned over 120 square kilometers in Limassol, Kokomix took action.
On January 25th, the company joined a reforestation event in Souni. They planted 100 trees – pines, cypresses, and carobs – to help restore the land. This initiative was organized by Green Shield, an independent group focused on environmental awareness and nature protection. Employees from Kokomix, local government officials, and members of the Presidential Administration joined in, proving that teamwork can lead to change.
“For Kokomix, caring for the environment is just as important as construction,” said company representatives. “We actively support efforts that restore nature and create a better future for our island.” Kokomix keeps backing environmental and social projects, aiming for a green, sustainable future for Cyprus.
The goal of this action is to help gradually restore the natural environment in areas hit by fires. Similar efforts often happen in other communities in Cyprus affected by fires.
