He is a leader, unbeatable in the air, and great with the ball at his feet. These qualities define Josef Kvinta.
The Czech ‘tower’ is known for his stability and confidence in defense. But this season, he shows that he can do much more than just defend.
With a strong presence and personality on the field, Kvinta is a key player for Apollon. He guides his teammates and leads by example. His strength in aerial duels, smart positioning, and calmness with the ball make him a complete central defender.
This year, he has also stepped up his offensive game, scoring 4 goals—his best ever—with the season still going. His skills in the air make him a constant threat during set pieces. Plus, he showed off his talent with a stunning goal against Omonia, which is a top contender for goal of the year.
Not bad at all for a dynamic defender and one of Apollon’s captains. His overall presence proves he plays a crucial role in the team and can make an impact both defensively and offensively.
