There are serious problems on the Troodos roads due to landslides and ice from early morning. The Police are asking everyone to drive carefully.
Landslides have happened on the Pedoulas–Kykkos–Kambos, Kykkos–Tsakistras, and Kambos–Orkonta–Kato Pyrgos roads. Drivers should be extra careful in these areas.
Ice has also formed on several mountain routes. This includes the Prodromos–Lemythou, Prodromos–Platres, Kakopetria–Pinewood–Pedoulas, and Kakopetria–Karvouna roads, making them very slippery.
All roads are open, but the Police suggest paying more attention, following traffic signs, and obeying traffic rules to prevent accidents.
