The Department of Public Works is starting roadworks on highways from February 9 to 13. This will cause some temporary traffic changes. Drivers should slow down and follow the instructions from authorities.
On the Limassol-Nicosia highway (A1), from Monday to Thursday (9-12/2) between 20:00-05:30, road marking will take place. One lane towards Limassol will be closed in sections, and traffic will move to the other lane.
On the Larnaca Airport-Paralimni highway, on Monday, February 9 (20:00-05:30), work will happen before the Livadia exit towards Paralimni. Traffic will switch to the opposite lane for two-way use. Access to Livadia will be closed, and drivers should use the Voroklini exit.
On Tuesday, February 10, during the same hours, maintenance will take place at the exit towards the Kalo Chorio roundabout to Larnaca Airport. Traffic on the highway will run normally, but drivers should pick alternative exits.
Also, on Wednesday, February 11 and Friday, February 13 (08:00-15:00), rainwater drainage cleaning will happen at the Aradippou Industrial Area exit towards Dhekelia and Paralimni. This exit will be closed, and traffic will be directed from the Aradippou exit (West).
