The Municipality of Larnaca has introduced new payment options for municipal parking areas. Smart parking systems are now in place at Mackenzie, Tasos Mitsopoulos Avenue, and Agios Lazaros.
Drivers can pay the parking fee using a card with contactless transactions right when they leave their vehicle. There’s also a cash payment option available through machines in the parking areas.
The Municipality reminds everyone that large and bulky vehicles cannot enter these areas. Trucks, vehicles with trailers, and other oversized vehicles are not allowed. Security cameras are active in the parking areas and monitored by approved security systems. If there are any acts of vandalism or damage, a report will be made to the Police.
