A 33-year-old broke into his ex-partner’s apartment in Larnaca through the balcony door. He attacked a 40-year-old man with a cleaver, seriously injuring his arms, head, and back.
The 46-year-old woman with him managed to escape and called the police. The 40-year-old was first taken to Larnaca General Hospital. Due to his serious injuries, he was later moved to Nicosia General Hospital for more treatment. The 33-year-old was arrested under a court warrant and is being held for the investigation. The Larnaca Criminal Investigation Department is looking into the case with help from the Kiti Police Station.
