The Municipality of Larnaca announces that to make Christmas shopping and outings more comfortable, parking in municipal areas, both at parking meters and pay and display machines, will be free from Saturday, December 13, 2025, until Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
This announcement covers the city’s Commercial Center, the Pavlou Valsamaki Multi-Storey Parking Area, Tasos Mitsopoulos Avenue, and the Mackenzie area.
It is clarified that in parking areas with smart systems, the barriers will remain fully operational. Entry will proceed as usual with automatic license plate recognition upon arrival, while on exit, the barriers will open automatically without any charge.
It is reminded that at the Larnaca Municipal Market, the maximum continuous free parking time of three (3) hours still applies.
Additionally, it is emphasized that illegal parking anywhere in the city will be reported according to regulations.
