A video leaked today on X raises big questions about how the Presidential Palace handled the 2028 election campaign. This was stated by AKEL’s General Secretary, Stefanos Stefanou, in a post.

Mr. Stefanou points out that the video raises serious issues about fund management and access to the Presidential environment. He insists that the Government must give clear answers right away and notes that AKEL is watching closely, promising more statements soon.

A few hours ago, a video leaked on platform X, raising concerns about fund management ahead of the 2028 election campaign and access to the Presidential environment related to investment interests. The leak is described as a recording made with a hidden camera during private conversations where participants seemed unaware they were being recorded.

The recorded talks include Charalambos Charalambous, Head of the President’s Office, former minister Giorgos Lakkotrypis, and businessman Giorgos Chrysochoos, CEO of Cyfield. Reports say these individuals were recently introduced as investors interested in investing in Cyprus.
