The 7-year-old girl hurt in a car accident in Limassol is in serious but stable condition. The crash happened when her father was driving with her and her 13-year-old brother.
According to the Police, the accident took place around 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 1st, on Ellados Street in Limassol. A 41-year-old driver was taking his two children, with his 7-year-old daughter in the back and his 13-year-old son in the front seat.
Doctors found that the 7-year-old has a fracture in her left arm and some abdominal bleeding.
The vehicle went off course for reasons still being looked into. It first hit a parked car and then crashed into a wall of a nearby property before stopping.
The three were taken by ambulance to Limassol General Hospital. Medical checks confirmed the 7-year-old’s arm fracture and abdominal bleeding. She was moved to Archbishop Makarios III Hospital in Nicosia for more treatment. Her condition is serious but stable.
The 41-year-old father and the 13-year-old son had minor injuries. They are being kept at Limassol General Hospital for precautionary observation. Their health is not concerning, and they should be discharged today.
