On Sunday, March 15, 2026, bus routes in Limassol will change temporarily. This is due to road work on Arch. Leontiou A’ Avenue by the Limassol Municipality.
EMEL announced that the central bus station ‘Old Hospital’ won’t be serviced all day.
To help passengers, the company has changed the routes. Starting and ending points will be moved to nearby spots. The routes will still run according to the Sunday schedule.
Several lines will now start from the stop at the RIO cinema on Ellados Street. Others will move to the parking area on Aiolou Street or places like Dodekanisou Street, Agias Fylaxeos Avenue, Nikou Pattichi Avenue, and ‘Four Traffic Lights’.
The circular route 32 will keep running from the Old Hospital using the rear access of the area.
Routes from rural areas will also be serviced from new points like the parking area on Aiolou Street and the stop near RIO cinema.
The other urban and feeder lines will not be affected by these changes.
