LIMASSOL: A 39-year-old man tried to rob a 16-year-old and attacked a police officer.
In Germasogeia, police arrested the man for attacking the teenager with robbery in mind. This happened yesterday afternoon at a kiosk.
At around 2:45 PM, officers received a report about the robbery at the kiosk. When they arrived, they found the 39-year-old attacking the 16-year-old inside. The police intervened to stop him. During this, he also attacked one of the officers.
After his arrest, police found an open knife and the teenager’s mobile phone on him. He admitted to taking the phone under threat. Later that evening, he was arrested again after a court warrant was issued for the robbery case. The Limassol CID and Germasogeia Police Station are still investigating.
