A group of residents from the Historic Center is planning to file a mass lawsuit against the Municipality of Limassol. They are upset about the decline in their quality of life and the lack of action from the authorities.
The Association of Residents and Friends of the Historic Center announced this decision during their Annual General Assembly. This came after the municipality did not respond to a demand letter sent in September 2025.
The residents say they face problems like noise pollution, disturbances from nightclubs, cleanliness issues, and uncontrolled parking. They also point out that some businesses are operating without licenses or breaking their operating rules.
The Association explains that taking legal action is a last resort. They want to ensure a better quality of life and proper functioning in Limassol’s Historic Center.
