They hadn’t even recovered from the first attack when the second one struck. Two brothers, owners of a luxury car dealership in the Amathunta area of Limassol, have once again fallen victim to a criminal act that has left them with damages exceeding €100,000.
According to police, unknown perpetrators doused one of the vehicles parked in the forecourt with a flammable substance. The fire spread rapidly, completely destroying two vehicles in the outer area and causing serious damage to six more inside the premises.
The case takes on even more alarming dimensions, as the same business owners had been targeted with Molotov cocktails on Clean Monday at a second car sales facility they operate in the same area.
Investigations by the Police and Fire Service are in full progress. The crime scene remains cordoned off for evidence collection. Authorities are examining a possible connection between the two attacks, as the targeted nature of the assaults leaves little room for coincidence.
