Mariusz Stepinski has moved from Omonia to Poland and Korona Kielce, ending a long wait about his future.
This all started with his comments in November 2024 during the match against Legia. It became clear this season that he didn’t want to stay, and Henning Berg didn’t see him as a top choice. “I asked for a meeting with the sports director and coach before the first training session. I made it clear I wanted a transfer because I don’t see my future at this club,” he said in a podcast back home after his move.
All the talk about whether he should play more added pressure on both the team and him. Given these circumstances, parting ways was the only realistic option. And that’s what happened.
