Maseko wears the yellow of AEL Limassol.
On Tuesday morning, Maseko’s move to AEL Limassol was announced:
“The Athletic Union of Limassol shares the news of an agreement with South Africa’s champion team Mamelodi Sundowns FC. Thapelo Maseko will join us on loan until the end of the current football season. He is 22 years old and plays in all attacking midfield positions.
His career started at SuperSport United, where he played 34 matches. In 2023, he moved to Mamelodi Sundowns FC, making 45 appearances in both local and international competitions like the African Football League & Cup and the CAF Champions League.
He also plays for South Africa’s national team, with 7 appearances so far. We welcome him to the AEL family and wish him great success in our blue and yellow jersey.
