Mikaela Messiou is no stranger to writing. She has already published three books in English. Her latest book, ‘The Goddess Within You – A Trilogy of Holistic Wellness, Financial Freedom, and Domestic Harmony’, encourages women to evolve and create a balanced, fulfilling life.
The book launch happened at the Cultural Center of the National Bank of Greece (Cyprus). The event attracted people from public, business, and academic sectors, showing great interest in the book’s message.
All profits from book sales will go to support Europa Donna Cyprus.
The event featured notable guests, including Minister of Transport, Communications and Works Alexis Vafeadis. Deputy Mayor of Nicosia Chrysanthos Fakas welcomed everyone, while former Minister of Justice and Public Order Emily Yiolitis shared a greeting. Anna Chatzidimitriou, Director of the Psychology Department at Athens Medical Center, presented the book and discussed its philosophical background.
The book includes a greeting from the First Lady of Cyprus Philippa Karsera Christodoulides and a foreword by American entrepreneur Larisa Miller. It is published by Epiphaniou Editions. The proceeds will help Europa Donna Cyprus support women fighting breast cancer. Journalist Athina Chalkou coordinated the evening, and copies are available in bookstores and online with free delivery across Cyprus.
The author was joined by her husband Andreas Papacharalambous and their children Valeria and Victor.
Mikaela Messiou is an inspiring woman of action. She was born and raised in Nicosia and knew her path early on. She graduated from the English School Nicosia and studied Business Administration and French at Reading University in the UK, finishing with honors. Later, she earned a master’s degree in Human Resource Management at Oxford, blending knowledge with her love for learning.
At just 25 years old, she started her first fashion business, launching a successful career. Today, she runs Damaris Health & Wellness Center. Inspired by ancient Greek Damaris, she helps women awaken their inner ‘goddess’. For two decades, she has also led her family business Messios Trading in household goods, mixing tradition with modern business ideas.
