Milos Matisik spoke to Polish media.
The Polish player talked about his move to Termalica and Jagiellonia’s interest last summer.
“Last summer, I was very close to joining Jagiellonia. We had a personal agreement, and I was ready. I just needed the clubs to agree. Sadly, in the end, Jagiellonia and Aris Limassol couldn’t reach an agreement, so the transfer fell through. I was waiting for the go-ahead. At the last moment, I learned that there was no go-ahead,” Matisik said. He then added:
“In winter, there were rumors again about me going to Jagiellonia, but honestly, I had no info about it and wondered where they came from. There was no contact, so I see them as just old rumors. At Aris, I wasn’t playing much and wanted a team where I could play more. I had been looking for a loan for a while. I knew Termalica was interested. Coach Bros called me. Aris agreed to loan me out, and I was happy to take that chance. That’s why I chose to go on loan to Termalica Nieciecza, so I could play regularly and help the team.”
