Aris has shown interest in Murad Mammadov for a few days now.
But the ‘Light Brigade’ isn’t the only team interested. The 19-year-old player, who represents Azerbaijan’s National Youth Team, is also on the radar of other clubs, like Hungary’s Ferencváros.
Besides the Hungarians, another team in Cyprus is keen on Mammadov and is closer to signing him.
It seems that unless something unexpected happens, Mammadov is likely to continue his career on our island with Pafos, which has offered him a four-year deal.
Mammadov himself wants to try his luck abroad. Even though Neftçi Baku offered him a contract renewal with a nice pay raise, he decided to turn it down.
This all points to him moving on to another team, and as mentioned earlier, unless there are big surprises, that team will be Pafos.
