A new assault on a mobile traffic-camera operator was reported in the early hours on the Paphos–Limassol motorway, near the Kouklia exit.
According to a complaint filed with police by a 36-year-old employee of a photo-enforcement company, at around 2:40 a vehicle carrying three people approached. One of them asked to speak with him and, when he slightly opened the window, allegedly sprayed him in the face.
At the same time, the other two allegedly struck the company vehicle and caused damage. The employee then left the scene and reported the incident to police.
The case is being investigated by Paphos CID.
