Great news for the Agios Athanasios industrial area! A contract has been announced to create a new entrance and exit, according to the Agios Athanasios Industrialists Association (SYVIAA).
The Association says this project will improve safety and cut down on traffic jams in the area.
After getting the green light from the right authorities, the Department of Public Works announced the contract on March 5. This request, pushed by SYVIAA for years, is finally moving forward.
The Association thanks everyone who helped make this project happen, including President Nikos Christodoulides, Transport Minister Alexis Vafeadis, former Energy Minister George Papanastasiou, and Mayor of Amathus Kyriakos Xydias.
Lastly, it encourages businesses in the area that haven’t joined the Association yet to sign up. Together, they can tackle issues facing the industrial community.
